Trouble linking a custom querry to my lot.

I have created a simple park to experiment with custom querry windows. I have followed the tutorials to link the querry but when I use the lot in the game it stil pulls the generic Maxis querry up.

One thing I noticed while looking at other peoples custom lots with querry windows is that the DIR file has both exemplars for the lot listed as well as the UI file. The DIR file for my lot only has the two exemplars listed in it. I have tried to figure out how the get the UI file listed in the DIR but I have had no success.

Does the UI file even need to be listed in the DIR file for it to work? If so how do I go about adding it. I am stumped, thanks for any help or tips you can give.

Pablo

The DIR file does only list compressed files, so maybe if your UI file is not compressed, it's not listed in the DIR file. As for the in-game query, make sure that the Query exemplar GUID property has exactly the same ID as your instance ID of the UI file, and also make sure that you don't have any old copies of your lot in the plugins folder that may override your work.

Ahh thank you! I had an older copy of a file in the folder that was messing with things.
