Help please! Update not working...

I found out recently that I need to do the SimCity 4 update to get nighlights to work in my game. So I went on over to simcity.ea.com, and updated SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition. I tried all five servers, and each time I clicked install, it said something along the lines of "File not found, however a file of the same name was found. Operation aborted". What's going on?

Yes I checked the Omnibus and yes I used the search button. Nothing helped.

I would really appreciate it if I could just get a straight answer, not get my thread hi-jacked like it did a while back. So, any ideas?

For the nightlights to work, you have to download the SC4Update BAT as well, not just the Sim City Updates, and for that you need to register...

and how come none of the updates work?...they have to, but be careful, install only the one which is recommended for your country...

If that doesn't work, you can always reinstall the game, and try again...
