Sorry, I was just curious what that meant, and thought I'd razz you about it at the same time. 3.gif

Voar Tok: Its the first line of the Welsh national anthem..which honestly I think is one of the prettiest anthems in the world..translated as "The land of my fathers is dear unto me." The last bit is the Welsh Motto "Wales Forever" 3.gif

Voar Tok: Mae ei'n cyn-bannod am y anthem Cymru cenedlaethol..rwyn meddoll fod yr anthem yn un o'r pertach yn y byd..cyfieithodd fel "Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi." Yr un peth olaf yw arwyddair Cymraeg "Cymru am byth" 3.gif

^^ A very loose translation of my above paragraph

6u: Oh wow, thats cool! Celebration! We had our own little private party in school today (in Powys 3.gif3.gif3.gif) for them.

Gwlad! Gwlad! pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad. Tra mor yn fur I'r bur hoff bau, O bydded i'r heniaith barhau.

And I actually learnt that. After falling in love with Wales whilst I was there with Boggy and on many family holidays I have offically denounced by Englishness and become a faux-Welshman.

God damn it I love Wales.

    Wish I was born there.

Wales is the greatest! they're language is great, the country and landscape are beautiful. There isn't really anything to dislike about wales. But on the topic of rugby New Zealand is still going to kick wales like they do every year 3.gif

Wish i was born there too GB.

I do love Wales, but I still prefer being Irish 9.gif

Then again both the Irish and Welsh share close Celtic roots......indeed St. Patrick came from Wales 4.gif

I swear Welsh was designed to look like gibberish. So was Gaelic, actually. No coherence to the words whatsoever. And people think English is bad with its spelling and grammar quirks. 21.gif
