Near the bottom of the "South of Market" picture is Interstate 80. It tunnels under the Financial District and meets up with the Bay Bridge on it's way across the bay to Oakland. Obviously no freeway travels under the real SF. I just did this to keep the freeway connected (a diagonal bridge would have solved the problem). . . . . . . Sorry about not having any replies to your comments. Next time for sure. This was the only way to fit in an update before next week.

Its looking really good. One flaw is however, if that avenue at the top of the SOMA shot is Market, there should be tall buildings there instead of those museum things. Also the roads in the Sutro Tower pic, most if not all should be streets. But other than that your work is pretty good. I'd like to see some of the southeast neighborhoods however, the part thats off those tourist maps!

Great mosaic! I also like the Sutro Tower pic where you managed to recreate all these winding streets on very steep hills. It must have been tough...

Another well-rounded update! Nice mosaics of two great-looking areas, even though the pictures are mis-aligned. 3.gif Even so, it's still a good example of excellent citybuilding and perfect amounts of color enhancements to the shots. I really liked the diverse building mixes found in the Haight district. It's just so amazing how it looks. I'm still loving how you nail traffic levels, and kudos for your continuing hard work. Keep it up, man! 9.gif
