CU zoning prototype

I played around with this yesterday. I love the idea of zonning with tags. put tags on all your buildings and then you can zone for certain building types. you can make all kinds of specific districts. you set up your tags by architecture type, industry type, size, color...whatever you want! One thing I am looking forward to using this for is to zone out apartment complexes and suburban neighborhoods with similar architechure styles.

the tags are the perfect answer to keeping mansions out of low wealth neighborhoods and also a way to keep CO and CS seperate.

It's a great idea but I hope 1. we can get lots that are not just square or rectangle, and 2. That the left over spaces can get filled up.

They certainly will, as evident in City Life.

Left over spaces became known as "carpets" which simply held flora/plaza that didn't do anything unless you spent actual money to create a park there, a library kiosk, a police kiosk, etc.
