I see no reason why it couldn't. Even though your graphics chipset is integrated, they are still (for the most part) better than some of the top-of-the-line cards made around the time SC4 was released.

Any pc, no matter how powerful will eventually be bogged down.. but as long as you are judicious in your combo of screen size, detail, "extras", and most importantly plugin size, then you can enjoy the game on most any pc.

It won't play smoothly. There is something wrong with the Mac version of this game in that any scrolling results in extremely laggy movement. I came to realize this after thinking that my month old Mac Pro quod with the Nvidia 8800GT would be able to peform on this game. Boy was I wrong. At first I tried maximum settings on maximum 1920-by-1200 resolution: bad move. I then tried lower resolutions and maximum settings, and scrolling still was slow. I then installed an old PC version via bootcamp on a Windows XP drive, set the settings to maximum in 1920-by-1200 resolution, and the came played smooth as butter.

My computer, under optimal coding, is able to run this game at it's peak demand and do so quite well. Somehow, Aspyr managed to screw up the code.
