Computer Crashing

Whenever I start SimCity 4, my computer crashes!  I noticed it only does it when the disk drive starts and sometimes I can play the game fine.  This is a new computer with vista and I was wondering if anybody knows whats going on and how to solve this problem

You should try a search over there first.

The problem is most likely with your plug-ins folder. I would go through it and try to find the file that is causing the conflict.

Moving to Bugs and Technical Issues.

If I were you, I would check to see that you have all the latest drivers.  The way you describe your problem makes me suspicious of your disk drivers.
