I always have the same problem in my cities : Commute time is LONG. Each time that someone make a post on forums about commute problem someone say do you have NAM?

Now let's clear things up plz. Yes I have NAM, but what after I downloaded and installed it? Yes I see many new types of road you can build but what's the link with commute time? Anyone can clear my mind on that? Thx.

(Don't talk about the 1x1 road that is like a highway cause I tried it and you can't build anything near that road. It says no parking, it's like a highway.)

When you install lthe NAM, there are many possible path finding algorithms available for you to choose.  If you get it right for your style of play things improve.

Try reading the extensive documentation on this.

    noami...

There is a documentation folder installed with the program when it is installed. It contains several readme files which explain the function and different settings of the NAM. You might also try searching here and at SCD for threads on the use and actions of the NAM. There are several.

Also, the NAM may not be the 'cure-all' for every long commute time situation. Other things can come into play - distance, congestion, etc. I guess what I'm saying is be aware of the 'big' picture to find the best solution. Good luck 2.gif. CC

Hi! I choose custom in path-finding and radical automata (which by the way i dont now what it is) but still theyre abandon their homes?? Isnt there a mod that takes away the limit of commute? Its not that realistic, i mean i dont complain and i have 45 miles to work ( irl ofcourse)9.gif
