Anyone know how to  remove this program compleatly from  PC? So i can reload it?

Currently Using Direct X 9.0c on  XP Pro System

P4 3.0GH with the latest chipset drivers.

1G RAM

80G HD

Radeon 9600XT 128MB

I get this error when playing EQ2  then game crashes to desk top.

<Verify> D:\live\eq2\framework\core\devices\src\DirectX9RenderDevice.cpp(1997)9.gifirectX. (E_OUTOFMEMORY)
Acording to Sony and ATI threre were several thing to try

Removing/replaceing Vidio drivers with latest version and with older versions.( used a driver cleaner as well each time i removed the drivers)

Updateing Dirext X 9 ( cant use 10 it for Vista)

Updateing Mother Board chipset drivers

Updateing Vidio chipset drivers

Sony  said these thing needed to be done in a certian order, which i did.

Also reloaded the game as well

Still the error persists

the i wasnt sure was totlay deleted was  Direct X 9.0 since the drive cleaner did not have an option for deleting/cleaning  those files.

Any help would be helpfull 47.gif

Edit : One more item  one time and one time only when it crashed i tried to just restart EQ and  it told me it cannot find a 3d Device even though the card showed up in system.

Maybe you can configure your game to run in OpenGL instead of DirectX.

Remind me to NEVER shop day after thanksgiving. 32.gif

    3 hours in line at Fry's for e-GeForce 6200. only 59 bucks.......

hopefully the new card will solve my issues. Since reading more about the 2nd error code
    indicated a bad/over heated vidio card. 49.gif

Edit: Alright thats it time for  a OS reload.

    May see you tomorrow.

Happy reboot to you too.  Don't forget with your new card to set all the extra features to application selected (or equivalent) or SC4 will hate it as much as you hate shopping on black Friday.

    Good luck.

    EQError.jpg

    Things iv tried

New video card ( went from an ATI to nvidia so drivers probably not an issue even though that what Sony said to try )

Sony also said to reload updated bios and MB chip set drivers

Reloaded OS ( total reformat which means new registry and Dirext X 9.0c

as well as no residual drivers from other devices)

reloaded EQ2 after updating XP but loaded no other programs except Mother Board monitoring.

    Same error after all that.

    Today

found hold down on CPU fan was broken. new fan cooled CPU

to lower temp but Still same crash.

But mem monitor showed using 98% on memory while game was on

Ok if i was just standing there but crashed if i moved around to much.

Returning new CPU i bought tomorrow to exchange for another 1G of RAM

Which is about the only think left i can think of.

Guess it was the memory upgraded to 2G and problem seems to have gone away.
