Picture it. You've got a British style city in the 1940s. Suddenly the sky is filled with bombers and your city is being raided.

Do you think wars and time should take part in Sim City (I mean a 1900+ scale)?

I don't think he means actually fighting the war. War does have an effect on cities, and I think it could be possible to implement without creating a war game.

I agree somewhat with Cobhris96, just because CU could have wars doesn't mean it would necessarily be a war game, wars do have big impacts on cities. But presonally, I think war should just stay out of the game, it'll be a bit much.

Lets just try to focus on whats important. Getting the game right and sweet, to meet our needs.

Once it gets there, then we can talk about other features... lol

Maybe have war in some form of a disaster? Bombings and invasions could possibly work, but that's not the focus of the game.

Time periods, however, is something I would like to see... as long as futuristic cities don't look like the Jetsons.

Global events should have some kind of effect on the cities... example, because of a world war your city was asked to send people to volunteer. Your population may drop, riots may occur, etc. If similar events were to happen it could have lasting effects on growth, demand, commercial development... maybe even bombings.
