that's great work! But I might had spotted that the night lights of the new AIG tower is messed up a bit... some sort of disorganized...

(sorry just a little thought of mine.... I wish I wasn't causing troubles or messing around =P)

I hope I can learn to BAT a few buildings in this summer, after the exam~

you are almost there!!! supportz!!!

I know what you mean fusion_lemon, those were just some of my first test renders, I still need to work out a few things anyway 3.gif. I'd never actually release something in that state, but if I can work out a few issues and make it seem more realistic then I may use that lighting technique to light up the new AIG and the Admiralty Centre.

    Thanks for your feedback.

i like it. it gives the buildings a depth look at night, and realistic looking as well.

i will say, the base may need a light here and their though. looks too dark to me. maybe an antenna on top with a red light as well for airplanes overhead to see the structure.

overall i love the lighting though.

The Admiralty Centre is rendered! Unfortunately I had to render the base and the two towers individually because of an issue with the night lights, and then put them together in the LE - so there's a few more small little issues I have to sort out in the modding stage.

First of all, there's this one thing that's really bugging me, I had to make the two towers props of course, but for some reason, props don't show up on zoom one in the game. Is there a way to get around this… (T-wrecks, Hong Kong? Help?)

Anyway, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, probably it’ll be on the STEX within a week or so.

Kelistmac, I'll send the landmark version to you soon, so you can make me some awesome STEX pictures if you want.

It grows like a weed btw, if you zone the required 4x9 tiles.

Modding is complete, and it should be up on the STEX as soon as I get the pictures back from Kelistmac.

I've taken the time to read some tutorials and I've included a 9x4 growable lot, as well as a functional CO$$ landmark lot this time.

That's really impressive work. I like that it fills the block out. The towers and base work well together and the night lighting is really great. The ads are a nice touch. The reflected building in the glass is a bit repetitive though the way it appears on all four sides and, in my opinion, a little bit too defined (I prefer a more vague glass but that's my own preference). Still that's really minor and this one will definitely find its way into my plugins folder.

Too challenging!  6.gif Lol, they're just tin-shacks with a whole lot of roof junk. 3.gif I think something like the AC would be a lot harder than these would be. This actually looks like a really easy project because the modeling doesn’t exactly have to be perfectly neat and good textures would do a lot of the work for me.

Anyway, I'll do it! Could make a nice addition to the Hong Kong street pack, which I have been making more buildings for lately, I'll post some pics later.

Yipee that's great~~~ seems that cockatoo has full confidence in doing it!

At first I was stunned at those messy roof junks, signboards, wires and ACs which might be difficult for layout...

It would be a total new addition into the stex, I think there hasn't been anything like this on the stex yet......
