Man, I really wished they would make one.  A friend of mine made a cool mini version of the us with all the main cities.  I used to fly through it all the time.  I also miss flying as birdman in pilotwings 64 for the nintendo 64 across the mini united states level, that was cool.  Anyhow, I wish they would make another so that we can fly in the simcity 4 cities.  They should also make the physics realistic.  I'd buy the game hehe.

Any of you guys ever see a (those huge things that hold tons of ppl in them, I forgot what they were called; like a huge futuristic thing with a bubble on top) on fire?  I remember not putting the fire out and after about 5 or 10 mins it just blew up.  You could see ppl flying up after it exploded lol.  I also remember seeing cows gettign abducted by ufos, hehe.  Also, nothing like dropping ppl out of your chopper in midair.  Good times.  I miss simcopter.  I also remember seeing Supersim in simcity 2000, or was it simcity 3000?

In technicality, you can fly helicopters in SC4, with the Rush Hour expansion pack, but it's just not the same 15.gif

I would love if the series were to come back, it was so much fun, and it was pretty good(unless you got missions that are impossible).

I once had a police officer who wouldn't stop chasing me in order ot get in my helicopter...no matter how far away I was....so one time...on a custom city, I simply whent across the map and parked the helicopter and waited to see how long it would take the officer to get to the helicopter(57minutes btw). It was however, not very stable, I assume because of the fact it used early 3D programming...which bugs up pretty easily. I miss Simcopter..

Did you know that some early copies held a unauthorized easter egg? It was a nice one too3.gif

I kind of hope they'll bring back something like Streets of SimCity, too. Without the endless amount of bugs and horrible driving and vehicle physics.

I remember buying simcopter and simcity 3000 all in one pack, I think I spent a lot of time as a teenager playing those games.

I lost the manual/instruction from my SimMania pack shortly after reading the SimTower and Streets of SimCity parts so I learned by experience how to play SimCopter (unsuccessfully), SimSafari (successfully), SimIse (unsuccessfully), and SimCity Classic (successfully). I have yet to see any other copter games but Streets of SimCity is in the popular racing genre (which by now has gotten stale) so the only difference between SimCopter and most other racing games would be a mode to build the cities. Some have missions and free drive like Streets/SC and some have basic race track creation.

For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11

I believe in Simcopter, you could crash into boats to sink them, then rescue the passengers. I forgot about this but my friend reminded me when we were talking about this old game recently.

Also, taking cows for a ride.

I sorta liked these games (means simcopter and streets of sim city) as they really gave a nice idea of what my city would look like when walking down the streets.

you know I really loved sim copter and streets of simcity, they were awesome, a bit dated now, and buggy these days, but awesome none the less
