Real World Road Map Import Program

What does one think of this idea? Sure it might be a huge challenge but I think this would be an awesome idea especially for those who don't have all the free time in the world to individually lay each and every stretch of highway, avenue and road. It may not be perfect with grid constraints of the game but my idea of an external program on how it would work is that it would take its best interpretation of the specific map chosen by the user. Second would export this file to a .dat file to place into the plugins folder. I feel like this is wishful thinking but I wonder what other modders think on if this is even possible? Rather crude description of my idea but theres already sc4 teraformer, why not an "SC4 Road Map Importer"? Kinda catchy eh?

It sounds like an awesome idea. I often get bored laying out roads for an hour (or more at times) in SC4 and have always hoped there was a faster way of doing it, lol. Maybe an experienced modder can try at it.

It'd be really tricky for cities where the terrain doesn't match the actual grid. You'd have all sorts of funky diagonals going on.
