Residential Developments

Hey everyone, well I was at this place that had all residential developments and each development had all same buildings and decorative flowers everywhere and they tack a name up on it. Is it possible to do that in SC4? Is there anything on the STEX or at SC4 devotion that has it? Examples:

Choose a bldg you like and plop it the way you want it.............To plop a bldg you have to make a plop out of it with a tool, take a lot that plops or use the plopcheat.

So plop like 5 of the same building on one street and thats what you mean by "a residential development"?

Yeah, that's what I do. I choose two or three similar bldgs, make a ploplot in the LE with them and then plop them randomly, which makes a beautiful *residential development*, no?

It's a shame that the residental plop have neveer worked properly and dilapidate so quickly. You need to make mega growable lots.

You could also wait for them to grow in groups and then go through and declare them all historic....

Yea good point writing, but that takes a long time and sometimes when you demolish different homes you want, they come back. Also, does anyone know where to get (if there is any) townhomes? Also, is there any new medium-wealth homes to download off the STEX? Thanks everyone.

Oh yea, if you make them historic, they wont change. Lol, I wrote the first response before I read your last post...
