Can't get the very high buildings...

Hello

I'm playing simcity a few time, but I never get the realy big maxisbuildings like I somethimes see on screenshots here. They build average tall buildings but never real skyscrapers. My cities always have much inhabitants, and my "major-popularity "is at the top, all the things like security and healthyness are complete green, my city stands full with hospitals, firestations,... and in my region I have 500000 inhabitants. I don't now why they don't build the big buildings, now i'm playing in the year 130 and there's still no big one with 150000 inhabitants. Maybe I suck but I think that there are enough users with experience who can give me any hints

And another problem is the fact that my dowloaded buildings from here haven't got lights on it (when its night ) I have maybee 100 stexbuildings but none of them gives light. Whats the problem?

I think these would help, they get the skyscrapers to build faster. Theres one for Commercial and Residential

Not sure about the lighting, i think you may have to update your game at the offical website. You have to regester your game there first

Or you could try the Colossus Addon Mod, which changes the same properties as in those mods by newyorkrunaway1, referred to by HunterIrked. However, the CAM doesn't enable stage 8 buildings earlier, it extends the number of stages to 15. See the CAM board for more information (link below).

If I am correct then the CAM gives new values to the growable buildings and increase the number of growing stages.

you have to go to section about downloading BAT and you will find an update. i think simcity4update4bat or someting similar...
