Why I’m getting a lot of boxes in my city?

Recently I downloaded some landmarks and mods. I note some boxes with simcity.com written on it. How I can remove them.

Welcome to Simtropolis.

The reason is that you don't have all the "dependencies" for the lots. This means that the lots require something seperate to be downloaded and installed to SimCity in order work, and you don't have this. There should be a readme in the folder that you downloaded, check it to see if it tells you what dependencies you need to download, and then download them to your game, and voila, that should fix the problem.

If you no longer have the read me then search for the file thats has the brown box and it should say what depednscies are needed before you even download the file

Okay the problem most likly is that there is a depednscy file on SimCity 4's site you need. Saddly most people think that EVERY one has this file and say nothing about needing it. Go to the SimCity 4 official site....YOU NEED TO LOG IN FIRST...then go to "Cool Stuff", then "Lot Editor" you should see the download links for "SimCity 4 Building as Props" and "Rush Hour Building as Props". I have SC4 deluxe and just download both files...if you don't see the links you are not logged in! So if you have a boot leg version of SC4 your screwd....unless the STEX has that file on it.....does it?...any one? Also you might be a dope and don't read the read me's

I love them boxes too...I wish someone would make a lot out of them, LOL....put a front door and some windows on it and it can be like a shipping company or something, LOL.
