I've been wondering for a while now, does adding fauna to your man serve any practical purpose?

If so, do the three different groups of fauna each serve a different purpose?

I think you are mistaken fauna with flora. Flora (plants) reduce pollution and looks nice. Fauna (animals) is useless. I tried adding in some horses and they all died, maybe of some SimVirus.
