Simulating alternate economic sources: Possible?

In SC4, we now have the power to simulate and modify far more than ever. Modders have increased realism and decreased difficulty while making the game broader. We can now simulate industrial communities, suburbs, residential communities, which were never possible with previous one-town versions of the game. We can now mod in better networks, different networks, we have freeways which were never possible before, and a complex rewards system. So.... Is it possible in SC4 to simulate communities such as SCS suggests would make the game more interesting? How about a Tourist based community - would it be possible to simulate enough commercial demand with merely enough of the right kind of parks, landmarks, and reward tree? What about the regional road system.. Would it be possible to create a reward which required maintaining (and therefor getting income to support) a certain level of connectivity in a town (say, a highway that is uninterupted from one border to another). Or a college town, in which extra capacity in higher learning is turned into more residents with money to burn? As well as being more likely to riot! These things are just some communities I've been familiar with that haven't been possible in SC before. The promise of a game in which they are possible intrigues me. But are they possible now? -Crissa
