Ok so.. I updated my game with the EP1 update, yet no lights on these buildings, inside the red square rectangles/boxes.

For the record, I used the DatCompressor thing from SimCityDevotion as suggested to see if it would help the zoom issues. It did perfectly. But.. alot of files in my plugins folder were removed as they were called "not sc4 files" yet they were indeed sc4 files. (I don't just stick anything in there without checking first to see if it's safe or ok for my computer.)
--
Another thing, for some reason during my game the area appeared as it would if a nuclear plant had exploded, you know the radiation appearance you get after it explodes? I never had one up. I use solar energy plants by PEG, and in the past never had a problem with them so I know it's most likely not them.

I'm so confused right now, maybe the packer misplaced the EP1.dat update or something but.. I just don't know anymore.. so..confusing. lol.

By your statement, it seems that you put EP.1 in your plugins, and not your Maxis plugin directory, if you tried to use the datpacker on it. Move the update to your program files, Maxis. As for the non-Maxis files, use Cleanitol to check your plugins. Cleanitol is available at SC4D on the LEX.

the no lights on the building u have marked is due to not having another update for the BAT actually. there is a fix at www.simcity.com under downloads/BAT section. u need to be a registered user for the site for it to work. its near the bottom of the page, i would give u a link, but kinda can't unless u have registred ur product. the patch itself to fix this is around 14mb file

Ace_F15:

The radiation pollution can come from more than one lot.  The Desease Research Center is one.  Area 5.1, and the Toxic Waste Dump, also produce the pollution.  Once you have one of these lots, you will probably have the pollution forever, even after bulldozing the lots.

You can get the SC4update4BAT.exe [for the nightlights] at this site:
