Why is my game not starting?

I have a annoying problem. Everytime I start my game, a black screen appears and then it returns to the desktop. I had this problem before and they suggested that I had to check my plugins for bugs and wrong downloads. I removed all of my plugins out of the pluginsfolder but the problem remains! 32.gif

Anyone knows what the problem is? Thanks in advance!

Well, you are very light on machine.  Your plugins are bigger than your RAM, and you had better have your page file set to max.  It is not surprising the game won't load.

What else is running when you try to load this game?  With only 512MB of RAM you are minimal to run this on XP SP2.

If you can, add at least 256MB.  I found a quantum threshold with 768MB, and later upgraded to 1024MB.  But I have integrated graphics, so this cuts down my apparent RAM to 806MB.

You can probably run if you turn off your internet connection, and kill your protection software.

The problem is solved now. The cause was a bad file i just downloaded from the STEX. I removed it from the plugins folder and the game just started like usual 4.gif
