Sometime ago, I remember someone telling be there was something that could correct this.

However, is there is still no fix, it would be great that some hero(s) could make something that could fix this terrible bug.

Thanks for your help. 1.gif

Untouchable, but Why not making a patch that would not modify the main executable?

A patch could only be done by Maxis, and I sure they are not going to the expense of doing it. They have long since abandoned any thoughts of updates, or patches, because it wouldn't be profitable.

O know. But I was talking of a patch inspired of the TTDPatch for Transport Tycoon Deluxe. Instead, it would only correct this horrible bug, and, if followed in the futur, correct some other bugs. This kind of patch made by fans is legal as long as you own the game.

There is one way I heard that could temporarily disable the bug...go to the "Zones Data View" and turn it on...then turn it off...I haven't tried it just yet cuz i  just heard about it when downloading something earlier this minute.

Now that would be fine if the game wasn't encrypted.  The disk file is encrypted and is keyed and decrypted by the bridge screen at the beginning.  I don't think anyone other than EA can legally touch the binary.

Then the patch must modify what was loaded then. It should be possible (look at some trainers).

This bug is so important that somethings must be done.

NB : Sorry for the long reply, came back from a long trip.
