Modding SC4 Deluxe w/ Latest Patch??

    All:

    I am trying to mod for the first time SimCity 4 Deluxe using iLive Reader.  I followed some instructions on modding a new ordinance from Simtropolis, but once I am done with the mod, the application will no longer launch.  I also noticed that the names/values don't seem to be exactly the same in my version as in the tutorial.  I was wondering if anyone had any insight for me.  I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or if it is the latest patch.  I would love someone to enlighten me.  Thanks
