Windows Vista Crash Issue & Exception

I'm having an issue with my new computer crashing to desktop while playing SC4K RH.  Originally it would crash after 10-15 minutes however today after expanding the virtual memory to 4092 (as recommended here in several threads) I was actually able to play for about three hours before the crash hit.

    Here are my system stats:

    HP A1710n
    Windows Vista Home Premium Edition
AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core Processor 4200+  2.20 GHz
    2046MB RAM
    32-bit Operating System
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT video card

I've noticed this exception report recurring when this happens.  It's basically the same every time.  Because it's "ACCESS_VIOLATION" I'm wondering if it has something to do with needing to run in Admin mode or something else?  I'll paste the exception below.  Any help is much appreciated I hate playing SC4K RH on my old slow comptuer.

    Thanks,  ErikMesa  1.gif

Well, ,the version number in your crash doesn't reflect the Update 1 fix for Rush Hour.  The correct version of RH after the update is 638.

If you are running with a no-cd crack, you are running with a copy of the program that has not been updated.

for vista, the maximum page file is 4095.

Since you have the 64-bit version with dual AMD processors try running with the XP emulation on, and set the affinity of the program for only one processor.

I've run the update from the SC website and it says its current.  It is a legal version not cracked and I have the original discs and everything.  I'll try uninstalling it and reinstalling it and try updating it then.

Can you give me directions to set the XP emulation "on" and how to set the affinity of the program?  I'm kind of a hardware ***** and don't really know how.

    Thanks, ErikMesa
