The worst problem ever

Hi there, last month i post tread about a crash problem. Thanks to people who helped me but that wasnt enough to resolve it... ill tell you about...

since 2003 im playin SC4 i bought the expansion pack the week he was relesed... he runned well until march 2007 hes started to crash and reboot my computer... i only load the city then beep my computer is on the boot screen...

Think about it im a addict of Sc4 and i can play...hes been 3 months im thimking about city ideas and network projects then beeep rebooting... plese help me out

P.S dont post like update your grafic card drivers or sound or turn your memory to 4096 ive already done that...

If you are rebooting, not crashing to the desktop, then it is very likely something external to the game.  What else is running when you play?  Have you changed anything, hardware or software on your machine?

If you know how, change the reboot to a blue screen of death.  This will give you a message that states where the crash occured in the Operating System.

if foud the blue screen but it only shows ilisible caracters on the whole surface of the screen

i wouls suggest it could be your souncard! its more than likely a hardware issue, because the computer will not re-boot if SC4 can not play, it would just crash to the desktop. especially if it was a plugin problem. so this is 9/10 a hardware thing. could also be a corrupt memory stick. basically meaning its toast and need a new one. try running any other memory intense app, like photoshop or even a different game and see what happens. could also be ur videocard crapping out on ya as well.

1) load SC4 to the region screen if u can

2) go to options > video setings > turn off hardware render mode, and use software render instead

this may work, if it does, then its a videocard problem, and either u need to have it fixed or buy a new one altogether

kk ill try it...but everything works on my comp i use photoshop frequently and i play Counter strike source ,half life 2 and world of warcraft with no problems...it could be a process that conflict with Sc4

that is possible but I think maybe - it puzzles me why you are rebooting because that almos tsays it isn't the game - is your graphics card compatible with SC4 and can you give us your computer spec? if you don't know then go to the run box and type in DxDiag
