SC4Terraformer on Vista

Has anyone managed to get the SC4Terraformer to run on Windows Vista?

I got it to work on Vista Home Premium but I had to flatten the land.

No, I have not even been ablbe to get it to open after downloading it32.gif

    Same here. Tried opening as admin, run in xp mode etc, no joy!

    I have vista and SCTerraformer works fine on my computer maybe its gotta do with the resolution, many things dont work simply because of the monitors resolution try fiddling it with it and see if it works

    Also, make sure you have the right version of .NET framework for it.  Multiple versions can be coresident.

    I'm not using .NET, so I don't see how this can help ( however who knows with Vista )

    The thing is I have not managed to get it run myself, but I know others that run it, and it certainly have to do with the DX dll.

    Try to set the compatibilty to WinXP SP2 to see if it helps

    It would have been good to post that in the SC4TF support thread instead of creating a new thread

    NOB can you merge this topic with the SC4TF support thread please ?
