ATI + Vista - can people run game w/ hardware rendering?

    It seems from the threads in the forum that the consensus is that the latest ATI drivers prevent the game from running effectively in hardware rendering mode, forcing us to use software rendering mode.  I use XP but am thinking of going to Vista.  Does anyone play the game in hardware rendering mode on Vista using recent ATI drivers or do you have to use software rendering mode in Vista as well?

    A lot depends on your hardware configuration.  Putting Vista in most machines is like trying to fit an elephant into a breadbox.
