To avoid unnecessary duplication, I won't reproduce the "How to" here, but instead link over to SimPeg, where the tutorial is hosted.

There are currently four topics on the SimPeg MML forum:

MML Overview (What is an MML?)

MML - The Making Of (How to make an MML)

MML - Issues (If your MML isn't behaving itself)

MML Lists and Requests (What has been MML'd, and what you'd like MML'd)

Diggis has produced a comprehensive "How to" tutorial (the Making of topic) - and in the unlikely event you can't get your head around it, I'm currently writing a "step-by-step" version, based on my experiences of making an MML. This is currently a work in progress - but I hope to finish it in the next 24 hours.

    The link is here: http://simpeg.com/forum/index.php?board=84.0
