After a break from simcity (my computer died a while back) I installed it on my new pc and started the long and painful process of gathering all the custom content and modds again, I grabbed the new NAM cos I just can't live without it, but now I have a problem. When I get into the game and load a city to start my vision my miscellanious transport menu is acting up, it seems blank but when I move my mouse over it brings up the LOT info and when plopping stuff all GLR entires come up with what I assume to be props missing (I get the nasty maxis carboard box thingy) can someone please help me out here its really bugging me and I just wanna get started.

If only there was a quicker and easier way of getting custom content and all their dependencies.

I believe the problem is the way they have packaged the new NAM (draggable GLR portion) to make the stations function, u would have downloaded a patch from the STEX to allow the stations to be built on the draggable GLR, but it obviously contains patches for stations you have never downloaded. As such, it's places it in the menu, without icons, and just plain messed it up. you can either delete the patch, and resort to placing puzzle pieces when u want to place stations, or just remove the patch files for the stations u have not installed.

someone correct me if I'm wrong, please

LK

I have a different, worse problem. I sometimes start up a city and when it grows I put down a GLR line (or two). I then save and exit the game, and next time I wish to play the city, I load it and the game immediatly crashes. This happens with every city in which I have GLR.

I've got a Problem too.. the default "GLR" Trains do not appear (no Automata)... The Blue Line / Green Line / Red Line / Yellow Line Trains from SFBT do appear. But no other ones... I don't know why. Some times I have deleted all GLR Stations and Addon - Trams but nothing happend.

Delta ²k5: Do you have any traffic on the lines ? Becauce the normal automata is appear when you have some traffic on the lines. The SFBT-tram mod is what is called a spawn mod. The trams spawn around the stops.

@supaphil: As mentioned above, only install those patches for the stations that you have installed. The readme clearly states that the download includes patches for (nearly) all available GLR stations, and that they have to be installed into the same folder as the original stations, so installing all of them without having the original files will cause problems, obviously. I thought that the term "patch" was clear enough (i. e. it fixes an issue with the original files), but obviously, I was wrong...

@Delta ²k5: You didn't read the BSC SFBT GLR Tram Mod readme file, did you? 2.gif It clearly says that this mod installs a file that hids the standard el-rail automata, so it doesn't interfere with the colored trams. If you only want the stations, but not the trams, simply delete all automata files from the installation folder.
