Downloading Problems

Hello there everyone. I've been having some strange problems recently. I was wondering if anyone else might be haveing this same problem too.

When I download a file, say a BAT or even the new NAM, the file will not fully download. For example, the NAM is aound 10 MB. When I try downloading it, it will only download up to 1, 2, or 3 MB of the zip file. I usually restart the download over but it will just stop halfway through. I've noticed this started happening after the new search was put up. 

Has anyone else been having this problem?

no but when i Downloaded the hole digger lots the zip file wouldnt unzip it would just flash

I'm still have the same problem with lots downloads, lots downloads zips are broken, im try using diferents browsers but the problem don't fix. =(

Well, here I go again.  When reporting this problem, please

1. What O/S are you using in what version and update?
2. What Browser are you using in which version?
3. What is the URL of the file you tried to get?
4. If possible, what error message did you get?  A screen shot will do.

If we are going to track this down, we need more information, folks.  Please provide it.

Oh, and make sure this site is allowed to download through your firewall and that cookies are enabled for this site as well.

I am having the exact same problem as Mayor Vonce. Whenever I try to download something, after a few minutes a message will appear that says "Internet Explorer cannot download NetworkAddonMod_PC_june2007.zip from files.stexfiles.com . The connection with the server has been reset."

I use Microsoft Windows XP version 5.1.2600 . I use Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0.2900.21800 and update version sp2 .

I hope that this is enough information for you. If not, just let me know.

the may version of NAM wont download, a messege pops up saying "Compressed file is invalid or corrupt"

I have the same windows XP SP2 microsoft explorer 6.0 I tried the firewall off nothing and downloaded firefox 2.0 error states Invalid Menu Handle my cookies are always enabled and firewall was always off by me when I started with you guys 4 yrs ago I,ve been using winzip from the start and the one time you guys changed your server two yrs ago I had to switch because I was having problems with winzip and upgraded to winrar but in the last week when you guys where down a couple of times thats when I couldent download anymore I cannot remember the reason but it had to do with the toaster I tried Alzip and still errors.

I am also unable to download NAM.

OS: Windows XP SP2

Browser: Firefox 2.0.0.4, also tried the Safari beta 3 for kicks.

I have not received any error messages while attempting to download this, however, I have tried downloading it from my dialup connection at home, and the DC3 broadband connection at the university I attend. On dialup, it downloads about 1 MB and says file is complete, upon opening, says its corrupt. The broadband connection reaches about 6 MB and has the same problem. Cookies have never been disabled on either computer, and the built in Windows Firewall is not capable (as far as I know) of blocking downloads from a website.
