i had my sc4 deluxe installed in my game partition

I formatted my Operating System partition so all the registry entries and all that got deleted

So i reinstall sc4 but i do so into a folder called "3"

I then ran sc4 from the previous install folder: "2"

everything seems to work fine The night lights work in bats and i think that was part of an update from maxis/ea

but I wonder if I should stop this and run it from a normal install

Anyone foresee any problems or think of things that sc4 relies on to do it's thing

There is a registry entry that identifies the install directory as Drive:\3\Maxis\simcit~\

    in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Maxis\SimCity 4

would it be a problem if i changed the String to Drive:\2\Maxis\simcit~\

hope this didn't come out as too "rambley"
