    It's POLL TIME!

i need your opinion on whether I should abandon this and start on a city journal, which i want to start now because I'll have the entire summer to work on it.

The reason i want to abandon this is because the city journal is going to be exactly like this, except MUCH larger scale. I want the CJ to be in the figures of say, 250 million?

so if i want to be done with this by next summer, i should start now.

so tell me people, abandon this and move to the CJ (which I will start anyway when finished with this)

(and finally, this is in the game experiments, which means i was experimenting with population and such.)

Yeah but you've already started the CJ so you can't quit it now or risk letting down people and giving yourself a bad name - The CJ is the much better idea! Go with it!

Good luck in all your projects.

Just a suggestion. You might wait until the BSC CAM is released sometime in midsummer. In testing, I built a city on a large tile just 1/3 developed and have a population of 632,860 and all grown, no plops except for civic (police, fire, schools etc.). CAM is in final stages of testing now with special buildings made to reach stage 15. Check it out at SC4D, BSC creations, CAM development thread.

You should go with this CJ by all means. Even I'm amazed by your progress!

Sure, go to SC4D forums, then Sim City 4 Devotion Teams Place, and the first entry is BSC Place. Open that and you will see BSC Creations. The child boards are things like "vester's bat cave" CAM development is in the set below and bumps up and down depending on the last reply,   Right now it is on top because I just submitted my last CAM7 report before we move on to CAM8 tomorrow. Say, Bixel, there are several of your models in test lots that we are using, I am quite sure. All these lots are at a minumum of decoration, because we just want the buildings to grow (or see if they don't). Please drop in and talk with Ripplejet, this thing is amazing.9.gif

hmmm....i seem to like that mod...though it is quite hard to understand (at least for me it is)

Anyways, I love this forum! The population is astounding!

I am not really sure on whether you should quit this and move on to another CJ...

I also have an idea...why don't you make a city that is, like, the MAIN city of the entire region, like, it contains the US Capitol or a costum made BAT capital...I don't know, it's just a suggestion...

a got a region with 2.7 million sims and the regions most populous city has 730,000 sims.

another region of mine has 1.8 million sims with a city that has 530,000 sims

BTW Sirris- its actually only 1.3% percent of the US population. you had your decimal one place too far to the right
