Fixed your title (subtitle).  Your original title is not likely to get you what you want.  NOB.

Well, when you got your new hard drive, what did you do with it?  Did it replace the old one?  If so, what did you do to recover your stuff off the old drive?  Sounds as if you missed when you reinstalled your operating system.

What operating system are you running?  How did you get the game onto your new hard drive, if you did?

You don't say whether your Windows XP is up to the Service Pack 2 level, nor which copy of DirectX you have.

To properly run this game you need  DirectX 9.0c

If you need instruction on your machine, you should talk to whoever installed your disk.  They should have helped you get stuff across.

You need at least DirectX 7, or higher installed to run the game.

Yes if you are on XP, SP2.  In fact, if you are on Vista, it might be worth a try.
