problems about downloaded map

I have downloaded both the config file and the map but it keeps on telling me the size is not correct. 
I also checked the config file with the landscape designer and i think the config file should match with the map. 

Someone said the game has a bug and it can't render the first map and it can be solve by creating a dummy file in the Region file. 
I have tried but it seems doesn't work~ maybe I did something wrong because I am not quite sure with this, I just created another file containig the same stuff.


I wonder what's going wrong? I appreciate for your help~thank you!

Are you trying to render it in the game? If so:

1. Go into SC4 and start a new region (Give it the name you want)

2. Quit SC4

3. Go to your regions folder and find the folder with the region name you just made

4. Get the config.bmp you downloaded and drop it into this folder, replacing the default one the game made automatically.

5. Go back into SC4 and find your new region. It should have the size and borders specified by your new config.bmp, but be flat.

6. Press Ctrl-Alt-Shft-R

7. In the browse box, find the map jpeg you downloaded and open it.

The game will render the region but it might take a while. Leave your computer while it does that, doing stuff on your computer while it loads will cause parts of the map to not render.
