To bakercity - Thanks a lot... I'm using the computer of my brother... A friend will come next week for fixing the problem, in the worst case, he will give me his hardware tower or his graphic card...

To hockeyman9127 - Thanks! It's called something like "PEG Alley" It's some transit enabled 1x6 lots, I used them for separating my farms.

To homeandaway - Thanks my friend! Using the computer of my brother, the screen rendering is not the same and the quality is better... I was also surprised too by my work ;-)
Waiting four-five years befor I'll open my little office ;-) Me too, with the name : Mr. Beer !!! ;-)

To Silur - Thanks! Farming area are not boring places... It is sometimes difficult to recreat some area, due to small rivers, isolated farms and houses....

To capitol1 - Ok... damn... I must search on the STEX... wait! SMP Modern Industry! https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=18082

    To sunrise - Thanks mate!

To tomdapom - Thanks, I see when I visit your CJ ;-) I think yours is beautiful too!

To Fallon144 - Thanks! No problems! I must to fix my computer before :-(

To jacqulina - Thanks! I llove to build these areas ;-) I'm glad you like it!

To abracadabraz85 - Thanks! Cool, I'm sure you'll do a good work too. It's important to build the surrounding area of a city, you put also your city on its context.

Thanks all and I hope to play SC4 next weekend when my computer would be ok!
    Now, I'm going for shopping...

    Cheers!

EAST HAVELOCK IS AMAZING! I am back from my rural days (or holidays) and I am fine now! I was a bit stressed before lol and now I see that Lincoln is the same stuning journal as before! Mannnnnnnnnnnnnn!!! I love it more each day. Those fields, those suburbs, those freeways, those electric poles, aaaaah I love it so much!

And hope that problem with the computer gets solved soon, I can't wait for a new update!

Enjoy your architect live, David! 2.gif take care

    Thanks jacqulina and thanks Christian!!!

I tested my computer yesterday with a friend... We think the main card has grilled (carte mère)... so, I must to bring my PC today for maintenance or perhaps to buy an another one (more powerfull) probably the reparation cost would be higher than to buy a new PC tower...

Cheers my friends and thanks a lot for your understanding!

    David

Ps: sorry if the replies are short, I can stay long time on the Internet when I'm on work :-)

Yeah, today my brother took my computer for testing the composants... If the computer is really out, I'll buy a new PC tower or if not, probably just to change something... I'm so enthousiast to play again... :-( but I can't for the moment...

So, last weekend I took my bike for a ride in the countryland next to my home ;-)

I'm so sorry... I hope it would be repaired as soon as possible...

To jacqulina - Thanks a lot jacqui!!! I hope too!

To asturianu - I Christian! Yes, me too... Probably the problem would be fixed this weekend or the next week... I'm so bored to wait, my brother promised to me to take a look to my computer two weeks ago but he will do it only this afternoon...

I'm glad too!!! I received my first pay yesterday ;-)

See ya my friend! Take care!

To CocaTertoka - Yes, a little. I hop ti fix this problem soon. I'll not stop this CJ! Thanks for your post!

Oh, so your brother is taking a look at the computer hmm? Hope he finds the prolem and solves it. The only thing that I wish is that the regions and you plugins files, etc are safe. I don't want to imagine bad things as the ones that happend to me with Lloyd when I lost my plugins...ugh. Hope this afternoon everithing goes ok about your computer. So you went in a bike ride next to your home? In the countryland? Oh, that sounds funny!

Oh, you received your first pay as architect? Oh, i am so glad! ;-)

    See you, David, take care!

To penguin007 - It will!!! We are now trying to search a new processor... the hard disk is safe ;-)

I hope to start playing this weekend! Thanks!

To homeandaway - Bern, except the Paul Klee Foundation and the historic district... nothing, Basel City and Zurich (Kreis4 district) are the best place for contemporary architecture... In my hometown, not so much... except for the EPFL campus and some sporadic realisations...

Thanks for your post and I hope your cat is going well!!!

To asturianu - Yes, he's now searching for a new processor... Normaly I'll buy it this saturday.

Yes, it was a funny trip. It's not really countryland, but more a sprawling industrial zone along a river (with bikepath, forrest and park)...

It was a great moment, after years to run every week with only 100 CHF (~160 Euros)... not easy when you must eat, buy the ticket for the train and the beer ;-)

Thanks a lot Christian (I'm using my workplace's computer for replying)

To CocaTertoka - Yes, on the STEX section, select RCI ploppable and go to the two or three last page... you will find them. You have several taste, like NY, Houston, R$$$, R$... mine were modified with the Lot Editor ... (sorry, I can't remeber the name of their creator, it's a suit of number he used for his avatar, but you'll found them very easely, if you have question, PM me)

To jacqulina - It's ok, the hard disk is safe. Hope this weekend all would be allright. Thanks again jacqui!

Oh, I see, David. So you are going to buy a new processor? Well!! That means not much was damaged in the computer! Hope you can play Lincoln again very soon. Hmmm, a bikepath along the forest and a park in the river? Eh, we have the same here in Avil

Hey, congrats on the first payday 44.gif

Good to hear that the hard disk is okay but never forget that a hard disk is not a safe place, too ... I have a large collection of backup DVDs by now - bought that DVD burner mostly for that purpose, for the little other things my old cd burner would have been sufficent ...

Take care (and make backups as soon as possible!)

Yeah, finally it's OK!!! I was to a computer shop last saturday with a big list of composants to buy... my motherboard, processor, etc. were too aged for a simple change, I did have to buy a new hard disk (500 Go) a new motherboard with a duo core processore (1066 Ghz), a crazy graphic card by NVidia and a new PC tower... damn... it costs CHF 1300.- (US$ 900.-) but now Paintbrush will run faster!!!

I hope to finish my work and to install SimCity4... I did a transfert from my old hard disk to the new one yesterday!!!

Thanks a lot for your understanding, if I have enough time, I'll post an update with the last pictures I did three weeks ago. Thanks again folks!

To asturianu - Yep! A steel plant! It's cool! We don't have any heavy industry where I live (but next to Basel, where Novartis, Syngenta, and all of the top of the chemical and pharma industry are headquartered we have a large chemical hub called Schweitzerhalle)

I'll plan for Lausanne a nuke power plant and some steel plant with large ten lanes freeways ;-)

Yes, It's ok now, I'll see when I'll have to pay my future bills and taxes :-(

It would not be an economic week... I have my birthday the 6 september (afterwork, birthday party) I'll see a friend for the afterwork tomorrow and a another one wednesday... $$$ damned!!!

    Cheers Christian!!!

To bakercity - Thanks man! A good hammer and all is allright, lol. I'm so hangry to play again!

    Have a nice day!

To Nardo69 - Thanks Bernhard! Now with this first pay, I have buy a new computer (I'll thanks my old computer to fall down just two weeks before)

I'll check if my brother can to give me his external hard disk or I'll simply, like you said, make backups using CD

    Take care Bernhard!

    UPDATE (SMALL)

    Thanks a lot jacqui ;-)

Due to problems with imageshack.us, I've uploaded only one image (it would be an preview of the next update I'll do tomorrow)

    HAVELOCK, NE

N-E neightborood of Lincoln, NE. It's a griddy part of the city. US-6 (Cornhusker Hwy) passes diagonaly and make a curve due to the presence of a railyard. A cement plant is also located here.

    See ya tomorrow!!!
