Sunken Transportation

Hello all,

I've been playing with sunken highways and they're very neat, but this isn't about them. I'm thinking about underpass lots like the JRJ Street under Rail lot. Has anybody made transit enabled street type lots that function that way? Or rail? Or highway? The reason I'm asking is for a dystopia futuristic city idea I had. If anyone's seen the main Dwarven city in WoW (I'm thinking it's called Ironforge, but I haven't played in a long long time. Something with forge.) or something like Midgar in FF7, that's what I'm talking about, where the tram goes under the city in a big loop and you have a slit along the top so you can see what's going on underneath. A real city with something like that would be cool. The difference between that and sunken highways is that this sort of transportation goes straight down so there's no slope involved. Also, it looks much dirtier. Does anyone know if something like this exists? Thanks!
