Windows Vista Won't Start

    Hello there- I really need your help on this one guys please. My sis just bought a PC and I'm using it. Everything was fine until yesterday, when I tried to turn it on and it does not load Vista. It just appears a black screen after the Microsoft Corporation sign and that's all. It just shows the pointer. What could it be? a virus? Don't know. Thanks.

    to be honest, this is not a PC repair shop. although i would say it would be a faulty install/missing file. u could contact microsoft center on the issue. reason i say that is due to the fact that vista is so new, i don't think alot of people will be able to give u a straight answer. i would assume microsoft is working on an update on the issue as we type!
