Hi everyone. I don't know if this as already beem mentioned before but, how difficult it is to create a software to allows us to organize the game menu. I know, thing's like:

- changing the position of the various menu buttons;

- creating submenus to group up several buttons;

- changing the icon of a button;

This would be a very usefull tool for all players. Although I guess it's not very easy to do it.

Submenues are impossible, but the rest should be doable. As a matter of fact, Mathe Man, one of the SFBT team members already investigated the issue and wants to develop a program for this, once he has some more free time. You can do this already with the existing modding programs, but it requires some basic knowledge about modding.

I just wish that downloads would appear consecutively...for instance, I get really annoyed when there's a 7-piece fence that has 3 pieces, then two more pieces 10 squares down, then two more further below that.

    To bad that submenus are impossible. They would be probably the most usefull tool of this software. Grouping things like waterfront sets, canal sets and other things together in submenus would minimize the amount of buttons per menu.

    My Recreational Buildings Menu, for example, has a huge amount of buttons:

    - BLaM parks;

    - Oppie, BSC and PEG canal systems;

    - PEG Stream and PEG Pond kits;

    That fact forces me to walk through a huge menu just to find a park to plop. Sometimes I see a button and I don't remember what park is that due to the huge amount of things I have.

    Let's hope that Mathe Man does that program soon.

    I absolutely agree, in my park menu and also in my landmarks menu i have hundreds of items in and it takes quite a while to find what i am looking for.

    Such a program would come quite in handy.

    The best thing for organizing your plug ins is the BSC MML. It works by ploping a lot and it'll trigger a set of lots (unhide them). It requires some advanced skills in modding though.

    Yeah, I would like it if some of the buildings were organized in Alpahbetical Order or by Building Type so it would be easier to find lots. Sometimes I go through my menus and I find lots I never even knew I had because they were so deep down on the list.

    Quick question: Would it be possible to take several similar buildings (Like wall sections) and combine them into one lot that you tab through the variations like a puzzle piece? -Sheepe
