Burj Al Arab Problem

I've downloaded the 'Burj Al Arab' tower on Bat Showcase by ks, but the tower doesn't appear?! I have put all the files in the plugin folder, but only the lot appears -> NO BUILDING!

What now?

i don't know if this is the right place to post your problem, since it's from another site, but i got the same problem, only get the lot.

I have the same problem, too. seems that this japanese batter is not so reliable.

Egads...yep, landscaped lot with no building for me too. ks seems to use his BATs as props on the lot rather than buildings and has modded the ploppable-with-jobs lots in such a way that they do need the desc file. However, it looks like he zipped in the wrong desc file for what the lot requires. Those who are clever can create an ad hoc work around with the Ilive Reader and LE (I've just done it, but I am not too sure how I did it!), but who knows what unintended effects such tinkering does.  You can also just use the Lot Editor to simply remove the erroneous building-as-prop and replace it with the correct one, though I do not know if LE overwrites any other of the custom Ilive Reader modding.

The lot is looking for this desc file to find the model:

BurjAlArab14-0x6534284a-0xb13c093e-0x12e858a5.SC4Desc

...but he packaged this one:

BurjAlArab14-0x6534284a-0xb13c093e-0xb2e6e9fc.SC4Desc

Hopefully, ks will somehow become aware of the problem (I'm sure Japanese players are crying too and posting responses) and then come out with an updated download file, for if you are lucky enough to manage to get it into game, it really is impressive looking.

Sorry for the revival, but has anyone found a working Burj Al Arab? I've downloaded mine from the ks, but have the same problems the topic creator has.

That's where I downloaded it from. The lot appears, but there isn't a building. I have the dependency it states it needs as well.
