Fairview, Fairview is the capital of the region... Fairview. My first city in this project, Fairview was created on February 12th. After inception, it rapidly grew to a city of fifty-two thousand, I have used no money cheats... although I will be using a little cheatlot cited below.

Fairview began with about 2 roads, a small commercial and residential zone. While still paused, I added, about one hundred tiles away, a small power field. This had nothing but fifteen windmills. I then added an industral zone, next to the city border, that went to around five tiles away from the residential and commercial zones. I linked them with two roads, and put a toll booth on each one (Mr Snoopy's Booths, see Citations), I also put a road from the industrial sector to the wind station. Ater doing all this, i began the simulation. Slowly... my city came to life. Buildings began being built, cars appeared on streets, and power began to be drained from the mills. I checked them. The wind station mills were only at a thiry-five percent capacity usage, so I decreaced the funding untill they were around sixty percent. This took care of some wasted money. Noticing my budget wasn't quite balanced, I zoned some more residence (on the RCI indicator, most demanded) for more tax income. Soon, my budget was more than balanced, my city was expanded to almost all it's borders, there was water, and a nice police, fire, medical, and education system. Then, after my city planner told me it was about time, I began upgrading zones to medum density. After that, I was plauged by water and power sortages, health and education strikes, and not enough money to keep an income and provide all services... My §1,134,345 coffers were soon reduced to around 826 thousand. The clinics were replaced by large medical centers, some elementary schools by larger ones. I demolished my two water pumps, and built a large water pump, after doubling the size of the wind power field. Soon, I'd used up all the remaining land, and the new tax money was barely enough to balance the budget. Now, there's nowhere to build but up, so up it shall go...

Designed to be my most realistic city, and the nicest looking one also. I began using the small, street placement method to flatten land for residential zones in the hills. I've been trying to make an avenue with little tunnels and roads running over it. It hasn't been going well...

This little lot has been a great help to me in larger cities. Great work!!!

Mr Snoopys New Toll Stations - mrsnoopy

They work just as well as the SimCity stations, but look a thousand times nicer.
