Bacon Pond - Old Turquesa County

No one can remember where then name Bacon came from.  Some say it's actor Kevin Bacon,

but seeing as the pond has had the same name for the last 113 years, others think otherwise.

Wherever it came from, the police officers on the corner don't think it's very funny...Oink Oink!

Realistic mapping. This was a trend in a lot of mid-2006 CJs that is severely missing in the rising new generation of CJers (late 2006 to now). Your Google-style maps (all three!) are quality work. It's great to see a 2007 CJ incorporate such great maps.

As well, you have developed a very unique layout that is even - gasp! - interactive, especially considering the static nature of a forum-based CJ as compared to a website-based CJ (such as paletexan's Athenee).

    Very nice work!

I like it, but the comments confuse me a little. How are they laid out? 3.gif

EDIT: Never mind, I just realised that you were just using random avatars 3.gif

    Anyways, BRING IT ON!

North Bank Ferry - Old Turquesa County

As a main link between the two halves of the City of Old Turquesa, the North Bank Ferry

serves many passengers every day.  Planners situated the dock in close proximity to the

commuter station and region's largest bus stop, all to provide the best transport around.

This is a great CJ. You've got a nice little region going here and your skills in a photoshop are quite a treat to view. You've a nice sense of style and presentation. I particularly like your newspapers. "How Cute is Your Baby? Experts Say Not Very" made me laugh quite hard. Keep up the great work.

South Bank Ferry - Old Turquesa County

The second half of Old Turquesa's ferry, the South Bank landing is indeed a modern marvel. Engineers

have timed the train with buses and ferry times so commuters feel nearly no lag waiting for one mode of

transportation to allow another to pass.  Your tax dollars are truly working to better serve Old Turquesa.

Old Turquesa Station - Old Turquesa County

The county's largest train station is also the newest.  Completed in 20XX, the train station

boasts some of the newest technologies yet  available to  railroad train stations.  Tickets

are kept low from various donors who expect many trips for many years down the rail.

It seems I'm not the only one who had this idea. I should have been faster at getting my CJ up 15.gif

Good work, though! I like the nod at Google Maps.
