This is a city layout of a real one! I will not show you the real one yet but here is the sim city one...well two!

untitled.jpg

This one is quite cool, i am moving away from grids and trying out some new stuff. The ral part is based on avenues and highways, not roads aor streets!

This is the main part, already all set out, if anyone wants me to start a cj with this, just pm me asking!

This is a road system of a city in Europe right? Anyway can't wait until more updates.

if you want to see a fantastic example of a real world city in SC4, look up thejerseydevil73's City Of Edmonton  city journal.

its an exact replica of Edmonton, Alberta down to the square meter. its fantastic.

it's not going to work, mostly because zoning and diagonals don't work very well

It also could be the road system of an american suburb, they tend to have an abundance of curved roads. If it were an old American city, it would have to be a grid. Grids were used as the basic city plan for most areas up until the 20th century, when cars allowed for sprawl.

I have to say, I am slightly disappointed that gazz121 never followed up with this one.

    Looked really interesting too.

    Shame.
