    http://www.sportbusiness.com/news/166306/dic-400m-bid-for-liverpool-rejected

Well looks like the deal for Gillette's share of  Liverpool FC fell through.

Seems Hicks want to retain control ( at least untill he can realize  more the a 25M  proffit for this)

To the people across the pond:

I am truly sorry a texas-yahoo bought a british soccer team. By hey, this nothing new: Many foreign companies/bigshots move into the states( too many which is begin to hurt the economy and the value of the dollar) and take control of our services and entertainment.(Was'nt there a spanish firm building the NAFTA superhighway thru the the continent, big mistake if you as me).

Just rid it out(like Hicks riding your team Liverpool !)

Seriously doing something, people of Liverpool! Don't let your team be demised by a texas-yahoo! Hicks may own it by contract, but you own it by heart!

Foreign investment does not hurt the dollar, it instead does the opposite. When foreign companies enter a market, there is a demand for that markets currency. The US dollar is falling for plenty of other reasons. When there is high demand for investment, that currency rises generally, when there is low desire for investment such as Zimbabwe, the currency tanks. Foreign companies have been getting involved in the US markets when our dollar was also at its strongest. Our dollar fell mainly due to lower interest rates which decrease demand for our currency because investments don't return as much.

    Reviving.

Tom Hicks financial troubles have  killed a deal for a group including Nolan Ryan to buy the Texas Rangers

The jist of the deal is Hicks owes to much to the creditors for this current deal to be approved.

    http://www.businessweek.com/news/2010-04-14/baseball-s-texas-rangers-said-to-face-bankruptcy-update1-.html

This is also effecting the proposed sale of The Dallas Stars which hicks also owns.

How things going for the Liverpool FC? Last i heard Hick stil owned them.

Tom Hicks again legaly forced to sell a debt ridden team he owns.

I expect the same thing to happen with his NHL team. although the NHL dont have nearly the power

to make things happen as the Premire leauge does.

reading that whole story the parallels to the  what happened during the sale of the texas rangers

    in incredible.

And today  Hicks throws another  landmine in the way.  Im so glad he wont win this one either.
