Everything turns red

After I changed Radeon 9000 64MB to Geforce 6200 256MB (71.84 drivers) I expected some weird graphic problems in  the game (Deluxe edition). The terrain and parts of buildings turn red, but not in all. While building, there are no arrows showing rotation and the blue 'board' under the building also disappeared. I changed the card becase SC4 isn't compatible with ATI cards (moving camera). Rest of hardware is: Athlon 1000@1450Mhz,  512MB of SDRAM 133Mhz, 40 GBytes of Samsung hard disk, Creative SB 128 sound card and 300 watt power spply. Hope someone will know, how to solve that problem.

Are you using the latest driver for the graphics card?

We can inspire others through witness so that one grows together in communicating. But the worst thing of all is religious proselytism, which paralyzes: “I am talking with you in order to persuade you.” No. Each person dialogues, starting with his and her own identity. The church grows by attraction, not proselytizing.    - Pope Francis

more importantly, did you properly UN install the ATI drivers before you installed the nVIDIA drivers?

And make sure that any extended capability on your new card is set to application selected.  You could also stand more physical memory, especially if you have a lot of plugins.

I am 99.44% sure this is a driver issue- you do not have the proper driver installed.  I had this exact same issue and it was only through trial and error of un-installing and then re-installing drivers until I found the proper one for my video card to eliminate this "red" issue.  In my case, it was an older driver, not the latest, that solved the issue.
