Game crash-looks like resolution problem

i am new in this forum and i would like to know what casues the crash, i'll describe it:

i am playing simcity4 (YAY!) and after a while i am putting road or doing somthing the game freezes but the music is still playing. then iam pushing ALT+TAB or ALT+CTRL+DEL and it returns to the desktop and then i am returning to the game and doing ALT+.... again and at the second time the monitor turns off (the button is blinking) and wh en it is back i see my screen cut to two pices and in the upper pice i see many tiny boxes with colors like violet or pink blue white etc........ and the muse pointer is jumping (showing up and dissapering fast). i have many stuff in the plugins like texture packs PEG-CDK NAM..... i think the problem is comming from one of the plugins . can you tell me how to stop it or tell me what plugin can cause that problem?

Try with an empty plugins folder, and start adding custom content until the game chrashes again. When this happens, you have found the origin of the problem.

Alternative way:

Start removing the most suspicious plugins (like the NAM) from your plugins folder, until the game stops chrashing. When this happens, the last plugin you removed was the origin of the problem.
