*NEW* Sim Tourist (Networked) Expansion Pack

Sorry for bumping this thread, just liked the idea and have ideas for it.

I just readed 1st post, and its great idea, but i would like to make some good points, bad points and sugestions (which are the most welcomed ).

Note: Im not english and i just had a few years of learning, beware my text can have lots of mistakes.

1st - If the game is just meeting other people, forget it, people get bored, what we need is action, objectives, for example, it would be great that "expansion" be like GTA:San Andreas (the only GTA i ever had), we could move him with the arrows of the keyboard and when we click on people we could get a menu of relationship options like The Sims 2, like Kiss, Hug, or just punch him.

2nd - Also an idea from GTA is driving, but everybody having is own bus or is own train, the lines would get full of people, so i sugest people get jobs and in those they got to do something, examples:
Bus/Train/Monorail driver - Got to drive the bus/train/monorail, he can drive the bus/train/mono, others cant
Policeman - Got to kill/arrest somebody, he can access to police car, others cant
Firefighter - Saving cats and erase fires, he can acess firefighters truck (like Sim City 4 it can have water), others cant
Army soldier - Killing other nations people, he can acess everything in-game, plus the tank, which nobody cans except him.
Shopkeeper - having a shop and sell stuff, it can be like The Sims 2 Open for business. (on GTA you get hungry, here you could also be hungry and got to go to a restaurant eat, or going to a supermarket buy food and cook at your home.)

This where the most funny ones, you could always add other jobs...

3rd - We could have money there and buy a poor house and have a poor job, but after 30 hours of playing, you have enough money to buy a better home. Jobs could have careers but not to shopkeepers and industrial guys. They got to be smart and be the best on their products, industrial of making cars and sell to the game, or farmer that sells food to the market or restaurant.

eduardeXtreme: You definitely caught the vision here!  I hope this gets built and released for us.  

Yesterday I was on wikipedia and reading about Sim City, and it says that more expansion packs in addition to Rush Hour are planned, but as of Sept 2008, no others released yet.  

Does anyone have any inside contacts with Maxis/EA to know if any new expansion packs or currently in the works?  Or perhaps if the developers have read this thread and are preparing the world-shaking advance of the *NEW* Sim Tourist (Networked) Expansion Pack that has been proposed in this thread?

I would like to have a sim who has a wealth level R$ (Very Poor) R$$ (Poor) R$$$ (Middle-Class) R$$$$ (Mid-Wealthy) R$$$$$ (Very Wealthy).

Example I:

Lets say My Sim (Jane Smith... or whatever) Jane Smith owns a small business in New York, MY city. She has to go to an airport (or she can take a boat or drive her car). Her wealth is R$$$ (Middle Class). She buys a ticket to Chicago. A few days later, she is on her way, and she sets up her small business in Chicago. She gains money and is able to buy things for her shop.

Example II:

Now, let us say Jane works in a High-Tech factory, she is R$$$$. She decides she wants to take a boat to Boston. She can do anything she wants, and she decides to move to Boston. She now has a house in someone ELSES city, and is on that persons sim list!

This all sounds great. But I do think, correct me if i am wrong, CITIESXL preview on their site shows you can do it with their game.

CitiesXL was not created when this thread topic was started. 

On another note, I haven't yet looked into that game to see how closely it follows our ideas throughout this thread by everyone.  

I will say that TimeMaster's post above is really good!  Clearly, he has caught the vision of the Sim Tourist idea as well.  

I wonder if citiesxl copied their idea from this topic on simtropolis.  You never know.

Cougar: Maybe you could create your own news channel and if a house has a TV they can watch it!

Teacher - You can teacher younger sims and raise the citie's education level. You can drive the school bus while others can't.
