Twigs, this is amazing! I dont think I have ever looked here but I am starting to get back into CJ's because once school started I stopped looking at them... haha

Anyway, I decided to go a few pages back and read. And WOW you have a beautiful region all together! I really enjoy reading this, so keep up the good work! 5.gif

Hi there! sorry I havent had an update for a while lol.  I haven't been playing much, but yesterday I worked on a little park (what else lol), so I have a few pics of that.  Then I might go back to actually building cities, lol 3.gif

I very much like the  Twiggly Park, 9.gif lol

    ParqueGrande-TwigglyPark1.jpg

Here is another pic of it.

Krio   lol yeah, its just a flat blank region... My first to actually do seriously, so I made it easy lol

Shanna   Thank you my friend!  I'm glad you enjoyed the Celtic things!

natuurzoon   Thanks for stopping by!  lol, there is a lot of space left to be filled in, i might finish the region in my lifetime.. 3.gif

frogface   Heh, me too... 3.gif  I'm pretty much scared to even venture in there, the city takes like 10 minutes to load, lol!! but one of these days i will have to finish it.  Maybe a huge park, or mayor's house?  2.gif

__idiotbox   Hey!  thanks for stopping by!  I looked at your sim diary, agrestic, its really cool! lol, and drama, but i love that!

I like the way your city is set up, Twiggy - a very realistic suburban spread - and I like the way Santa Maria has been very slowly expanding outward so it will eventually meet with the rest of the city.

Very nicely done. The regional shots and closeup shots both are very nicely done.

Hello Twiggy, it's been awhile, I've been really busy but I'm on Spring Break right now so I have a lot of time for posting in CJ's. Hopefully I can continue to post here (and in others) throughout the months ahead.

Nice work on the park, that must have took a long time! If I was making a park like that, and the computer just froze up, I'd go ballistic. Heh heh nice name as well, I really enjoyed this update and I can't wait for more, keep it up!

You did an amesome job of building the downtown area!

I like the old buildings and the streets.Looks excellent with german/scandanavian and other building styles...

    Wonder whats next?

    I agree with Cjah: awesome.

Only the windmills look unrealistic, because they are so close to downtown. Maybe deadwoods' old windmills are better?

Still beautifull. The parks are just perfect, a very nice mix of elements. The bridge picture is also awesome, the bridge placement is excellent (some tend to neglect it) and the props added in the water give it more realism.

I love your style of city building, Twigster!  You have a very good balance of developed areas to parks, it ends up looking really nice!

    Lexicon-Mar-1.jpg

I love those colorful buildings lol,

Next update I will have kind of a step-by-step thing about how I am rebuilding this medium sized city...so anyway... suggestions welcome!

Cool...redevelopment is always awesome to see...you understand more about an area when you see what it becomes...but also the older buildings will look great or euro...or both...old euro buildings...lol

Great job and a nice shot of Lexicon!

Playa Rocosa was really nice; the old town feel of it is a nice aspect of the city. I like how you allowed more modern buildings to grow as well, as real life cities typically have the same mix of architecture.

Lexicon's downtown looks great, I don't really see too much in the wake of redevelopment except for maybe that big brown apartment because it is facing towards the street, not the avenue.

    Keep up the great work!
