Help with skylines

Im struggling to see any decent buildings in my CBD ive got all the right demmand and all the neighbouring cities have good edu of 120+ but i can never seem to get anything better then a brick real estate. Ive also added a small airport and extremly good transportation with commute times really low.. Help please

Is their demand for c$$$ and c$$ in the cbd city, also what are the populations of the neighbouring cities. Do you have the city hall and the stock exchange placed in the city.

You just have to sit there and wait, lol. Or you can download the super demand mod found on Mods and Downloads. It gives you skyscrapers very quick. Did you zone high Density residential if commercial? if you zoned low density that's your problem.

Yeh, i did all that ive got a stock exchange too. but id rather not download modds.

he dosen't want to download guys. the slower way before i downloaded was to build lots of parks. That helps. Your city needs a high pop in order to have high buildings

yeah i'd advise you spread out with some low density suburbs (and lots of them) in the neighbouring city tiles, which will hopefully boost the region population and start your sims crying out for high density somewhere in the region. Landmarks and parks in the city in which you wish to make the CBD will help too.

If you mind me asking...what is your region pop and what is the pop of the city in which youwish to build the CBD?
