you are just as good at the nature as with cities! i liked the tiny settlements and islands where you can only get by boat and that burnt down factory.

Fantastic job Glenni, simply fantastic. Two questions: what are those 4 dark buildings near 60's college and how you get those red-norweigan houses to grow? Mine won't grow.

Well, it just doesn't get so much cars, they're both quiet areas, heh, worst of all Oslo can also be a real ghost town at times3.gif

    Here

As for the red houses won't grow problem?Which do you mean?

The red textures on the 1st set was quite bad so i ended up with brownish colours

The 2nd might take a bit more time, as it's over 10 different models2.gif

Ooh what waterfalls. And that bridge looks funny because it is so small. I was talking those red-red houses. I'll wait those to grow and if they won't then shall I redownload them.

You thought my CJ was dead, eh? Shame on you!3.gif

So anyway i got a tiny update for nowy i might update later on though.

Do you remember all the stuff under construction  in my cj earlier? Well some of it is now finnished

    Vandalsfjella_sentrum_looloo-1.jpg

For instance, the city has now gotten two new  medrises, but it also lost two, one is the grey tower next to the brown with the tube.

    Demolished1.jpg

    Vandalsfjellanewbuildings1.jpg

There was of course some opposition from old fashioned people, but they got ignored by the city  council. Now the city has two nice and glassy highrises that will hopefully we a nice addition for many years to come. But at the same time it has also lost some very special and unique examples of the 1960's and 1970's brutalist and modernist era buildings.

    Vandalsfjellanewbuildings2.jpg

This is where  one of them once stood, now it is replaced by some shiny offices from a japanese company of all things.46.gif

Here's also two region shots.  the transit  network describtion is in Norwegian though. so let me explain a few

    1: Motorvei  - Motorway

    2: Vei - Road

    3: Jernbane - Railway

    4: Høytog - Elevated rail

    5: Fergeruter - Ferryroutes

    6: Flyplass - Airport

    7: havn - Seaport

    vandalsfjella555.jpg

    Vandalsfjella444.jpg

Well that's it for now, enjoy!

    So here's another update,

This time we'll visit a boring suburb of Vandals Fjella, Vandals Fjorden3.gif it's a really miserable place in the core itself, but looks rather decent the furth away from it you get3.gif

    Vandalsfjorden_overview.jpg

    Vandalsfjorden_sentrum1.jpg

As i said, boring as heck3.gif

    Vandalsfjorden_sentrum2.jpg

    Vandalsfjorden_sentrum3.jpg

it picks up once you leave the town centre, though.

    Vandalsfjorden_industri.jpg

This litle street also seems to be reclaimed by nature..

    Vandalsfjorden_boliger1.jpg

Rows of council estates... seems like some very nice place to live...

    Houses:

Yes, this is a unique and realistic CJ. If I would be living in that suburb, I would kill myself! Hah hah. So boring and creepy place.

    Great work Glenni.
