Black Box Problem

In the attached picture, you'll see two (2) black boxes. When queried, the upper one shows "City Owned",  the bottom one shows as unzoned.

To remove, tried:

Removed all plugins, demolish, dezoned, rezoned, all disasters, teraform, plop on top....

The area was an old part of my city, that I decided to redesign. The "boxes" were hidden under a hill.

From your comment that they were hidden under a hill, possibly they are remnants of the "retaining walls" that appear under hillside lots. Maybe they're from a BATted lot where the BAT data was incorrect and the walls won't go away? (I'm not a BATter, so I could be wrong here.) Just a thought. If you know what lot was there (the city owner one was probably a park, utility or civic structure), you could try the "surround and bulldoze" method to see if they go away. Weird. Good Luck, Spoonie.

These look like foundation blocks from something that has been demolished but they remain. Maybe the dreaded immortal bug.

Tried the "surround & bulldoze" method DOXXP29, no luck. It's probably a bug as Barby W mentioned. Check this picture out. I can even run roads through the blocks!!  I'll probably bury it under a hill again.

yep thats the remnants of the immortal building bug. not alot u can do except try everything u can think to rid your city of it. i was told if u place parks near or on them it may go away. my suggestion to u is raise the land to make them go away and zone on top of it.

Well, I finally got rid of the black boxes by making a direct meteor hit on them.

Major damage MrFingers, but I didn't care. Just wanted to get rid of the "black box bug".
