If I could I would have linked it.. sorry.. I have read these things before over time and didn't keep track of it as I don't fool with these things much.. I expect it is under one of the 3 "modding" forums section of the CUSTOM CONTENT section.. 

I found just right off which is a discussion.. You aren't going to find a "magic solution".. Traffic problem solutions is what SC4 is actually about.. your easiest solution is just install the NAM with "radical mods" option if you want to do your best to have SC4 be something else.. you can read about it in the NAM download. I use the 2x10x10xperfect which is fine with me.. BUT you will still have traffic related problems with poorly designed transportation options... it's not as simple as SC4 would let you believe of just "upgrading" the roads etc to the next larger set

I can solve your soultion in three words. I've already told some this today. It called "High Speed Rail) on the stex. It can bring people from a large city to 3 large cities away and the comute is still low for them
